APPOINTMENT VS. WALK-IN
BlueRidgeMac is now open for walk-in service. We will continue to use our appointment system, so booked appointments will be tended to first. We always recommend booking an appointment if possible. Appointments can be scheduled via contacting us directly or support.apple.com. Walk-ins will be checked in based on service member availability.
TURN AROUND TIME
iOS devices: Turn around time is based on service member and part availability. Appointments are given preference on both as long as we know what model you have ahead of time. Turn around time for walk-in iPhone repairs will be based on part availability as well. If the part is not in stock please be ready to leave your phone for 24-48 hours as we wait for part shipment. We do have a limited stock of iPhone displays, cameras and batteries. Whole unit replacements always have to be ordered and shipped for any repair. We do retain the device if we have to order a part.
Desktops and laptops: Usual turn around time is about 5 business days depending on how difficult it is to replicate the reported issue.
WHAT TO DO BEFORE YOU BRING YOUR DEVICE IN
Backup: If possible please ensure your data is backed up. If it cannot be backed up we offer various services to help you rescue your data. These services do have a cost and are not covered under any warranty. Please understand we take the safety and security of your information very seriously but are not responsible for any data loss during repair.
Find My Device/Activation Locks: Most modern devices require deactivation of the Find My Device feature in order to proceed with hardware repair and service. If you are unable to deactivate this feature we can assist you within certain limits. We do not have the ability to reset a password beyond using the iforgot.apple.com service. If you are unable to disable Find My Device before hardware repair we will be unable to proceed. Bottom line…please be aware of your iCloud/AppleID login credentials.

BlueRidgeMac offers one on one training with knowledgable staff that has years of experience using the very product you want to learn about.
For new users we recommend picking up your product and getting to know it a little bit first, then as you start to know what you need help with call us up and schedule a session. We like to schedule them at least a week ahead of time and recommend a single hour of instruction at a time.
BlueRidgeMac offers authorized warranty service on any Apple product that falls under Apples one year limited warranty or extended AppleCare Plus warranty.
We can also perform any repair that falls out of warranty on those products. We can handle drops, spills and anything else that might have unfortunately put you out of commission.
If your repair falls under a warranty agreement or repair extension program there will be no fee for the repair of your equipment. If your repair falls outside of one of these options we have a $69 diagnostic fee and will contact you before moving forward with any repairs.
BlueRidgeMac is also here to help you decide which plan would be best for larger scale integration of Macintosh computers or iPads into your business. We have staff that has years of hands on experience with running networks of computers and equipment.
We will be glad to advise you on things like deploying multiple client machines or setting up your own server. We can also help you with designing your network from running the cables to installing wireless devices and printers.

Typical Repair Fees:
Diagnostic Fee – $69
In House Service – $120
Onsite Service (Home)- $120 per hour (plus travel expenses)
Onsite Service (Business)- $150 per hour (plus travel expenses)
Data Backup – $99
Data Recovery –$299(Free evaluation)
Expedited Repair Service (Repair is started the same day) – $100 per incident, in addition to repair fees.
